Hands on position..... *Analyst III, HRIS* *Job Overview* The analyst III, HRIS, is responsible for reviewing complex HR related business processes and activities, providing detailed analyses of processes and activities to isolate, identify and understand basic principles governing various phases of HR related business. This role identifies trends and problems, evaluates practices, conceptualizes new processes and activities and builds functional requirements for implementation, integration or conversions. This position will recommend, implement, integrate and manage changes, as well as communicate the changes to relevant stakeholders to promote optimum efficiency through the use of HR systems. This analyst may also participate in or lead HR related projects in support of broad strategic goals and organizational strategies. *Primary Responsibilities* - Set priorities based on understanding of customer business needs and impact to business capability. - Seek guidance and direction only when unable to resolve issues through initiative, knowledge and understanding of application functionality and underlying technology, and through collaboration with peers in and outside of the HRIS department. - Process issues received from HR business line areas and IT; research, analyze and resolve issues within scope of job. - Formulate and define scope and objectives for HR systems based on user needs and a good understanding of applicable HR business systems and industry requirements. - Design or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results. - Analyze HR business and user needs, document requirements and translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT department; manage changes to such specifications. - Ensure appropriate planning, preparation and execution of various testing activities is conducted for the work effort. - Assist in HR business process redesign and documentation as needed for accommodating new technology. - Provide guidance and advise less-experienced HRIS analysts. - Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between HR business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements gathering to final implementation. - Coordinate the completion of standard and ad-hoc reporting requests (e.g., gather data from existing reporting tools or execute SQL queries). - Monitor and execute HR related project and/or production support activities. - Support multiple HR projects simultaneously and serve as subject matter expert for HR projects and workgroups as necessary. - Develop, create, present and facilitate presentations for a variety of audiences. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. *Critical Competencies and Skills* People Merchant and Brand Business and Results - Builds Trusting & Loyal Relationships - Contributes to Team Success - Explains & Provides Feedback to Others - Communicates with Impact & Candor - Respects Individual Differences - Earns Customer Loyalty - Adapts to Change - Manages Work - Displays Business & Functional Acumen - Clarifies & Achieves Results *Minimum Qualifications* - Six (6) years of experience using a human capital management (HCM) solution such as PeopleSoft - Demonstrated experience in supporting four (4) or more HR related business process such as position management, performance management, talent acquisition, organizational development, organizational training, benefits, compensation or payroll. - Demonstrated strong PC skills including proficiency with the primary Microsoft Office applications. - Demonstrated proficient research skills and the ability to document complex HR related processes and operational workflows. - Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of change management. - Compliance with all company policies and procedures. - Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. - Ability to understand and follow English instructions. - Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same. - Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check. *Preferred Qualifications* - Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or related field;
