*Description *

*Examine, assess, and document business operations and procedures of
operating or administrative unit. Relate these procedures to IT/IS systems
and applications that are designed to enable the operating unit to
accomplish its objectives. Assist operating unit staff by developing
reports, downloads, and analyses from discipline-specific systems and
applications. Provide input to IT/IS specialists in development projects to
assist in developing specifications and functionalities in IT systems. *



*Necessary tools *

•        *Advanced MS suite *

•        *SAS and/or TOAD/SQL to query Oracle, Access or SQL Server
databases *

•        *DOORs for requirements and use cases *

•        *Visio or equivalent *

•        *SharePoint*



*KEY JOB FUNCTIONS *

•        *Assess business operations and processes to understand
procedures, information flows and handoffs, and convert into business
requirement and comprehensive use cases. *

•        *Participate in meetings and projects with client staff, project
managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand applications that
accomplish business operations of assigned work unit(s). *

•        *Create, design, and format technical specification documentation
including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other information or
processes needed to describe required system changes for development, QA,
and other internal customers. *

•        *Elicit requirements from users and translate into implementable
business requirements and/or system specifications to be used by developers
to code *

•        *Perform system testing, document results and track remediation.
Work with developers to address bugs. This will often entail using TOAD/SQL
or SAS to generate independent results. *

•        *Assist business in UAT testing as necessary *

•        *Manage requirement gathering meetings with the business and
proactively communicate any potential changes / updates to the scope of the
project or requirements to project team for review/approval. *

•        *Initiate project meetings with stakeholders, as needed, and
capture minutes and actionable items. *

•        *Maintain business requirements and testing documentation and
required SharePoint artifacts. *

•        *Perform ad-hoc analysis using TOAD/SQL or SAS to provide
management with needed business metrics and reports. Work on reporting
initiatives, as assigned. *



*EDUCATION *

•        *Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Master’s or other
Advanced Degree Preferred. *

•        *Area of Study: Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Business or
Finance *



*MINIMUM EXPERIENCE *

•        *5+ years of related experience *



*SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS *

•        *Create requirements documents, workflow and data charts, and
presentations as required. *

•        *Work on multiple projects at a given time. Run with smaller
projects from concept to implementation, including establishing project
plans. Able to self-manage tasks/projects to published delivery dates or
internal deadlines. *

•        *Proactively evaluate scope of assigned projects for automation
and efficiency opportunities. *

•        *Ability to independently learn new tools as required. Could
include tools such as Tableau, SpotFire, BlueWorks, requirement tools such
as Doors, testing tools such as Quality Center *

•        *Ability to work across multiple business units to drive toward
decisions smartly and efficiently *

•        *Proven ability to translate high-level business needs and
requirements into detailed, actionable tasks to ensure operational
readiness at the time of project implementation *

•        *Analytical business background and demonstrated intellectual
curiosity and the ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver
sound analysis, solutions and business intelligence. *

•        *Ability to collaborate, influence and solve difficult problems,
combining the ability to prioritize and function well in a dynamic
environment and to establish solutions for which a 'run book' does not
already exist. *

•        *Attention to detail with intentional focus on quality and data
validation. *

•        *Strong interpersonal and communication skills required *

•        *Mortgage market knowledge with an emphasis in the credit domain
preferred *
