Job Title: Senior / Lead Automation QA_ Data warehouse / Big Data Location: Plano,TX Duration: 6 Months + *Key Skills : Looking for Lead Automation QA preferably 10 years + exp., but some exp. In Data warehouse or Big data is preferred.* *Job Description:* · Implement an automated test infrastructure that will support regression testing and new functionality testing. · Implement test strategies and effective test automation solutions. · Mentor departmental resources on the application of our automation framework, how to test automation and data management tools, and how to leverage against testing needs (Waterfall & Agile processes) . · Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand initiatives, gather automation requirements, implement automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions . · Communicate status to key stakeholders and management . · Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions that fall within your scope . · Implement automation framework / strategies for data warehouse, Unix, web, and terminal emulators based applications . · Establish and maintain physical, virtual and test automation labs for effective automation execution Practice automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability . · Troubleshoot problems during automation execution/ Hardening testing . · Prepare user guide manuals and process related documents *General Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering or military experience At least 5 years experience in testing/quality services At least 4 years experience with one or more of: Unix, VB & Unix Script, Java, SQL, Ruby, Cucumber/Gherkin, automation of Data Warehouse Very strong software trouble shooting skills Regards, Anand Tiwari Pyramid Consulting, Inc.
