Followed by Middle ware(weblogic/ Apache/Websphere)Java J2EE knowledge! * *Job Description:* v 8-10 years experience v J2ee v Weblogic v MQ v Linux v scripting/automation v Someone with Dev Ops experience is a big plus v Trouble shooting. triaging existing application environments v Day to day environment management v Dev Ops related functions v Process automation (move from shell/homegrown to commercial tools) v A minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in working in production and pre-production support or management required. v Candidate must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively be able to provide direction and assistance with diagnostics and troubleshooting using critical problem solving techniques. v Candidate must have hands on experience is working in a mixed infrastructure environment of Linux/Solaris/Windows. v The candidate should demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills. Must have strong team focus and client service work ethic. v Physical Demands and Work Environment v While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. v The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. v The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email. v Provide support for all stages of Weblogic/Websphere implementation and/or Java container related issues and triage application issues as related to the J2EE container. v Identify any bottlenecks in the messaging infrastructure (MQ, JMS, OSB) and provide quick fixes to ensure that the SLA’s are meet and future prevention with a thorough root cause analysis. v Skilled in implementing high availability, fault tolerant strategies, and load balancing. v Experienced technical knowledge in specialty area with basic knowledge of complementary infrastructures. v Strong fundamental knowledge of Linux, Solaris and Windows operating systems. v Ability to design, build, deploy, document and troubleshoot issues within the Linux, Solaris and Windows stack and collaborate with Storage, Network and Application groups on infrastructure projects. v Automate Weblogic Builds; Use tools such as Jython to automate builds of Weblogic environments and create scripts to query Weblogic for resource checking such as determining if a JDBC Datasource is up v Configure the Weblogic Environment – Use tools like Jython to connect to an existing domain and add/modify/delete resources like queues v Use shell scripts etc. to automate typical manual tasks – shell scripting, perl, other programming skills a plus v Experience with DevOps technologies and processes such as Puppet, uDeploy, vRealize etc. v Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and Windows Domain and DNS administration. v Experience with messaging systems like IBM MQ, Oracle Service Bus and Weblogic based messaging technologies. v Experience working with J2EE containers like Oracle Weblogic Server, IBM Websphere. v Experience configuring internet facing URL’s and securing it with centralized authentication systems like CA SiteMinder. v Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware ESX is a plus. v A fast learner with ability to dive into new products and technologies, develop subject matter expertise and drive projects to completion. v A team player with good written and verbal communication skills that can mentor other members in the production support group. v Provide primary support for production infrastructure (Linux/Solaris/Windows). v Familiarity with Oracle SPARC, HP Servers & CISCO UCS blades. v Manage middleware environments and provide support to application and business teams. v Manage all Linux/Solaris/Windows related system deployments and issues and act as last level of escalation for all system and application related issues both hardware and software. v Past experience in identifying and working with vendor support like Oracle, CA and EMC to provide resolution to issues that need escalation is a plus. v Work with the Information Security, Compliance and Business Continuity teams to ensure systems are hardened and in compliance with the Corporate and Regulatory guidelines. v Install, configure and manage the IBM Websphere MQ and Oracle Service Bus messaging software. v Troubleshoot Oracle Weblogic Server performance issues independently and/or in conjunction with other Middleware Engineers and Oracle database administrators. v Configure and troubleshoot internet facing web portals and analyze apache web servers, CA SiteMinder web agent logs to identify any web related issues. v Good understanding of SSL and Certs and configuring them in Apache. v Provide detailed root cause analysis and suggest workarounds and/or solutions for recurring issues. v Monitor, diagnose and identify UNIX & JVM related issues that have a potential to cause an incident and take corrective action. v Work independently and collaboratively with other support organizations to troubleshoot system and application issues. v Automate repeatable tasks using scripting languages like bash, Perl, Python etc. Thanks & Regards *Martin Zeller* Agile Enterprise Solutions, Inc Ph: 630-315-9544 martin_zel...@aesinc.us.com ||| www.aesinc.us.com Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc || "Ensuring Client's Success"|| Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
