The role reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on program process and goals. The Integration and Deployment Specialist will play a key role on project teams, either on an advisor basis, or for large complex projects, as a full‐time member of the team, providing technical guidance to project teams in Solution Delivery and/or Technical Management. The Integration and Deployment Specialist collaborates with business partners, project managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement the project deployment strategy. The role is responsible for managing the implementation of all required infrastructure and applications. She/he will work with QA and Development teams to document and streamline the install process and related methodologies. The Integration and Deployment Specialist supports the project team with all services related to the planning, design, implementation, consolidation, migration and decommissioning of facilities and associated technologies. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Collaborate with project managers and technical leads on deployment and release plans Develop the project deployment plan and related artifacts Collaborate with development, QA, release engineering, operations, and site support to achieve high quality in the entire deployment pipeline Prepare integration plans, review and approve supporting system diagrams and installation technical design packages Coordinate the deployment of new infrastructure, managing suppliers locally and remotely Advise and liaise with business partners regarding IT infrastructure for new office environments Ensure that infrastructure plans meet our standards (i.e. deployment of new cabling, additional network ports) Manage fabrication of server rooms to specification Identify and manage implementation of power requirements as needed Work with existing suppliers and support the sourcing to new providers if required Act as the prime contact for all IT aspects related to an office opening Coordinate deployment activities with infrastructure and application support teams Work across project teams to ensure the deployment plan and future state is well understood; that the project teams are aligned Ensure network, storage, server, database and security standards; enable operations, and implementation processes Lead project technical performance assessment of networks, systems, applications and databases, in test environments and post implementation *KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE* Experience in program integration and deployment with the confidence and technical ability to consult at many levels Demonstrated functional knowledge in one or more of the following: large corporate IT operations, major IT programs, systems integration and technical architecture at enterprise and inter‐enterprise levels Management and/or oversight of large scale data center migration programs Knowledge of design and implementation of enterprise workflow systems, distributed architecture, intranet/internet architecture, and communication architectures Experience supporting complex development and deployment activities Technical project management experience High‐level understanding of software systems design and technical concepts Strong understanding of quality assurance and release management process Experience in transition management, deployment build release process, software release, configuration management, change management, and a strong technical understanding of BTS infrastructure Thorough understanding of different network appliances, and protocols Knowledge of our functions and systems In‐depth understanding of IT security management practices and procedures Looking for a talented technical analyst with very strong communication skills and broad technical and project leadership experience along with technical, analytical and communications skills for the management and design of a large On-Premise server farm environment. The Application Hosting team manages the design, implementation, and documentation of Windows 2008, Windows 2012 servers, Citrix, VMware 5.5 hypervisor, Linux, and HP-UX, vBlock 700 and 300 series, HP, Dell and UCES servers. *Required Skills:* Broad experience with independently leading the implementation of technical projects. Extremely strong communication skills with experience communicating and presenting to management. Experience with large server farms including Windows 2008 thru 2012, Linux SuSE, and Vmware 5.5 vCenter and ESXi host deployments. Candidates must have strong VMware implementation and Linux experience. Experience managing Citrix Farms is a plus. Experience managing Windows Servers with SCCM is a plus. Experience utilizing Puppet for configuration management is a plus. Experience implementing VCE vBlock is a plus. Experience managing UCES and vBlock A solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies including: Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and DHCP. Must be proactive and take individual initiative.
