This is NOT a developer or technical role.. this is a functional (Business Analyst) SAP BI consultant. Term is 3++ months. . Phone hire. MUST have excellent COM skills and strong in SAP BI skills. Sr. Business Intelligence Solution Designer (SAP). This role is to backfill a resource that has accepted a new role at Cargill. Looking for a resource to start Monday, April 4th to enable cross training between the incumbent resource and the new contractor. Contract is for 3 months to start with potential to renew beyond that. Preference is for local candidates. Position Description: Cargill is looking for a Sr. BI Solution Designer (SAP). The manager is looking for individuals with previous experience designing BI reports from SAP data. The individual should have strong data investigation, analysis, and testing skills, and be familiar executing design, build, and testing work in sprints as part of an Agile project team. The Business Intelligence Designer is responsible for the analysis and design of business intelligence solutions. The BI Designer is responsible for both gathering and validating business requirements and translating business requirements into cohesive, integrated designs and development specifications. The Business Intelligence Designer is also responsible for writing and the execution of test scenarios and scripts. This position also considers integration of designs within and across the overall information solution catalog. This position will communicate within and across the BI designer team, BI development teams, and business implementation to meet design requirements. Lastly, all designers are responsible for delivering quality designs that meet both business and functional requirements. Principal Accountabilities: 20% Requirements Gathering & Analysis: • Identify, compile, and document business requirements through Interviews with relevant stakeholders, investigation of existing documentation, and through data/system analysis. • Analyze and prioritize business requirements to assess fit/gap with technology enablement, needs vs. wants, and legal or statutory requirements. 60% Solution Design: • Partner with development teams to translate the project requirements into data and report functional designs. • Create functional data designs mapping field sources to report targets • Create design mock-ups • Document logic for formulas and calculations • Validate technical mappings • Review design recommendations with peer or solution architects • Communicate designs with designers and developers to enable report build. 20% Testing/Go-Live Support • Develop test scripts to ensure requirement is met • Execute test scripts to ensure accuracy of data and functionality of reports. • Assist with product, user acceptance, business simulation, and/or regression testing, as required • Support “go live/hypercare” activities, including solution break/fix tasks and miscellaneous trouble-shooting Required: • 5+ years relevant business experience • 1+ years SAP experience (as a user or an implementation team member) and/or ERP implementation experience • Past project experience as a data analyst or experience working with data integrations in SAP BW/Hana. • Strong information research, data tracing, and data design skills. • Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments • Demonstrated analytical, technical, and problem solving skills • Ability to make decisions independently within scope or boundaries • Strong collaboration and influencing skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience facilitating meetings and/or group discussions Preferred: • Prior business intelligence experience working as part of an agile delivery team. • Past experience working with a global team • Ability to identify information required to make critical business decisions *Thanks & Regards,* Vikas Malik E-Solutions Inc 2 N.
