He/she must be a leading contributor individually and have the ability to work as a team member. Because of substantial customer interfacing, the individual must have a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Consults with business owners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities, which are cost effective and value added. · Analyzing/ Developing SFDC applications, resolving defects/application issues. · Prepares and/or reviews system and technical design documentation. · Develops application/utility programs including coding, testing, implementation and maintenance on complex systems. · Work closely with the Business Analysts and End users to ensure the solution meets business requirements. · Maintains in-depth understanding of application and technology architecture to ensure designs support the architecture. · Coordinates with QA testing team to ensure resolution to issues and quality software · Trains, develops and mentors other engineers and technical staff. Desirable qualifications and experience: Competencies / Required Skills: Technical: · Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with Visual Force, APEX APIs, APEX Triggers and APEX Web services · Solid understanding of the SFDC Data model, Architecture, constraints and governors · Basic administration experience in managing profiles, roles, hierarchy, dashboard, reports and customizations · Experience in integrating multiple Sales force instances / data integration (inbound & outbound) / tools · Expertise in integrating legacy systems with Sales force & bringing in those legacy applications into Salesforce (migration) · Ability to triage issues as they arise, review trace logs · Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans · Analytical/troubleshooting skills and production support experience · Expert knowledge of structured development methodologies and iterative development Professional: · Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment · Highly motivated self-starter: Persists in the face of obstacles; demonstrates initiative and sets high personal standards for performance; maintains a consistently high level of productivity · Strong communication and technical writing skills · Seeks to creatively and collaboratively develop win-win solutions with customers · Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action · Works collaboratively with others to achieve group and business goals · Thinks “outside the box” to generate fresh ideas/approaches Experience: · 5+ years of Software development experience · 2+ years in SFDC development · Preferred – SFDC Certification – 401 and 501 Educational Requirements: · Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience.
