Require a BASIS/Platform resource with SCM Experience to manage the SCM landscape for multiple SCM usage types: • BASIS team member responsible for platform management of SCM landscape under direction of technical lead and Enterprise architect. Includes SNC, SNP, DP/CTM, EM, and TM across four tiers (sandbox to production) • BASIS configuration, integration, and monitoring of SAP SCM on HANA instances. Perform BASIS/Platform tasks including: o Sizing and Capacity Planning. o Integration Setup (Logical Systems/Ports/RFC/CIF/qRFC/etc.) o Configure SCM functionality using underlying BW functionality: Embedded BW Setup, Technical Content Management, and Content Activation.o Client Copies & Comparisons as Needed. o Parameter Maintenance and Tuning. o Transport Route Setup and Management. o Spool, Batch, and Job Management. o RFC Queue Setup and Maintenance. o Coordinating and Advise Software Logistics (Patches/Upgrades/Notes) w/ SAP HEC Cloud Team • Create and maintain RFC connections and other integration points between SAP systems including trusted RFCs and CIF. • Work with functional team members to troubleshoot and analyze problems. • Research SAP Support Portal for reported issues, technology updates, configuration options. Open and track support incidents for BASIS related issues. • Maintain thorough documentation based on approved methods, approach, and strategies for SAP BASIS configuration processes and procedures. Prepare and package documentation in support of knowledge transfer.
