VuGen scripting experience Performance Tester El Segundo, CA 3 months $58.00/hr all inclusive US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Overview: The Performance Tester will work under general supervision to monitor software quality and associated business/technical risks across the software development lifecycle and will be dedicated to support planning, developing test scripts, executing test scenarios, and analyzing performance tests. This position requires strong deductive reasoning, attention to detail, persistence, patience, and creativity. The individual will work with Developers, Business Analyst, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and support teams to analyze developed, maintain and execute performance testing procedures. Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities. You will also add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts. This can also include the writing of specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform. Duties: • Script development, enhancement and validation using VuGen scripting tool • Script Review and Baseline – Which includes reviewing scripts, controller validation, etc. • Create Data for insert queries • Design scenario for roughly 500+ scripts • Support in work load profile tweaking • Result collection activities Requirements: • 7+ years of Experience in Performance testing and engineering of Web-based and client/server applications and Database systems. • Strong Project Planning and Estimation Knowledge • Good knowledge in Software Testing Life Cycle and the SEI-CMM • Good Knowledge of performance testing project activities including requirements gathering, planning, designing scripts and creating test data, executing load tests, and reporting observations • Proficiency in LoadRunner and HPE Performance Center • Knowledge of bug tracking and reporting using HP ALM (Quality Center) • Experience with performance monitoring tools such as: • App Dynamics • Sitescope • HP Diagnostics • Strong knowledge in Oracle 2 tier protocol scripting by VuGen (Virtual User Generator) • Strong knowledge in VB scripting • Excellent understanding of Database systems, Architecture, SQLS • Strong knowledge in Oracle AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) Reports, Oracle STS (Oracle Security Token Service) Shalin Patel Sr. Technical Recruiter Cybersearch, Ltd 800 E.
