We are currently working on filling an exciting new contract opportunity for an *Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant* position that will be based out in *Hopkins, MN*. *Job Title: Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant* *Location: Hopkins, MN* *Duration: Long Term* *Sr SD SAP Consultant* This position participates in the implementation of the Commercial Solution which supports and enables sales and direct purchasing processes. The SAP Commercial team’s functional coverage includes contracting, order processing, trading and risk management, promotions/rebates and billing. This position will also collaborate and help support trading related activities within the other process areas impacted by commodity handing and position management requirements. · Supports deployment activities including requirement gathering, documentation, training, testing, troubleshooting, data validation, and issue resolution. · Maintain quality of solutions that meet or exceed defined business requirements. · Requirements Gathering - Assess Business Unit/Function needs, clearly eliciting, translating, and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements and communicating to reach agreement. · Process and System Analysis - Communicate and clarify the requirements to the design and development resources. · Collaborate with the BU/Function and key project SMEs to track progress, and prioritize business requirements after reaching agreement and then ensuring alignment with process advisors and BU/Functions. · Use general to deep knowledge to translate business requirements for low to medium complexity design specifications within at least one process, data, or technology area. *Required Skills:* · *SD generalist experience* · *Strong SAP pricing functionality experience* · *Extensive SAP Deployment experience * · *8 years SAP experience* · *Self-starter, ability to act as the SD lead for the project and be hands-on* Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
