Hi list!
I have to compile the Arphic fonts a few times in a row because my new Debian packages are soon to be uploaded in the official Debian tree. But this time I have experienced that the latest Fontforge version (from 2006-04-30) requires a *lot* more CPU power: the older Fontforge took only about 4~5 hours to compile the four Arphic fonts; now I need at least 24 hours, if not more. Before I write to the upstream author, I would like to ask if any of you has also experienced the huge increase in compiling time. Someone has noted that it could either be libuninameslist or the changes to the TTF->Type1 spline conversion. I have recompiled Fontforge without libuninameslist, but to no avail. So is anyone experiencing a slower conversion with the CJK Fontforge scripts? Best regards Danai SAE-HAN 韓達耐 -- 题目:《书湖阴先生壁》 作者:王安石(1021-1086) 茅檐长扫静无苔,花木成畦手自栽。 一水护田将绿绕,两山排闼送青来。
