Haha! It appears you have psychic abilities because I was just about
to write an email about it!
Now that you're busy with the captions, I have a few Q's.
1. KOMA scrartcl: \chapter problems with ToC.
When I use \chapter with scrartcl, I should normally get an error
saying that I cannot use \chapter, only \section and onwards are
allowed. But when \CJKcaption{Bg5} is set, I get no error message at
all, and get the content of \chapter{} in regular roman. Is it
because CJK modifies the chapter commands?
This doesn't appear with scrreprt and scrbook, of course.
2. Overlapping text in ToC.
\part{Bla} shows up as "第一部\\Bla". But in the ToC, "Bla" is not
indented enough to the right, so it overlaps "第一部".
I use the following example text file in Big5:
