Please read doc/fdxfiles.txt.  There is no particular reason why some
fonts don't have an .fdx file.  I suppose it's of no use, such as for
Korean fonts.  And I don't think many people still use the (ugly) HBF
fonts, so it's a waste of time to create vertical glyphs for them.
