If you could provide us your files, then I might be able to see what's going wrong. Also, to debug please use KPATHSEA_DEBUG=-1 [command] It will produce a lot of output, so you might want to pipe it to a file. > I don't know exactly the stems of the problem, and what I could > consider is following: > > 1) It may be a problem of *dvips*, which could not intercept the fonts > information in *dvi* file. Hmmm. No idea. Perhaps KPATHSEA_DEBUG will tell you something useful. A diff between the *draft* and the *nodraft* output could prove interesting. > 3) It may be a problem result in virtual fonts, for I change the fonts > in GBK encoding (which is virtual) to UTF8 ones, all things is OK. Hmm, could be that the GBK fonts are botched, but I doubt it, since it's Werner who uploaded them. > > Also try to remove the contents from ~/.texmf-var/fonts/pk/* or > > /var/cache/fonts/ > > *. Ok, so that's one theory ruled out. > May I ask another off-topic question, where I could find the manual > just something like the source2e, which give a clear explanation to > the code of whole CJK package? Hmmm, no idea. You'll have to ask Werner Lemberg ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), the upstream maintainer of CJK.
