Dear Werner,
I use the cjkspace.el and cjktilde.el shipped with your CJK 4.7.0, and
ann the following the lines in my .emacs in order to using them with
AucTex:
----------------
(autoload 'CJK-insert-space "cjkspace"
"Insert tildes appropriately in CJK document." t)
(defun cjk-LaTeX-mode-hook ()
"CJK key definitions for LaTeX mode."
(define-key LaTeX-mode-map " " 'CJK-insert-space))
(add-hook 'LaTeX-mode-hook 'cjk-LaTeX-mode-hook)
----------------
But, I feel some inconveniences in using them to help me input
Chinese or English characters into my files with AucTex. I mean, in the
following case, I find it is not convenient for using these macros to
facilitate my typesettings:
If I input some non-chinese words consequently for some lines in a
article, the one-click on *space*, that is, *~* accordingly, will be the
delimitation of every two words. I think that it should be more
reasonable in using the *space* key itself as the
delimitation of every two non-chinese or non-multibytes words. In other
hand, if I dobule-click on the *space*, the delimitation of every two
non-chinese or non-multibytes words will be the *space* key itself, but
this way is inefficient if you want to input much more non-chinese words
in a article.
I mean, if I input a chinese character or a full shape character and then I
input a space a non-chinese or half shape character or word immediately
atfer the space, in this case, I think your macro is more convenient.
Furthmore, I want to know whether I can do the following thing or not with the·
above two elisp files you supplyed:
1. If I input sequential non-chinese words, can I make the *space* itself
instead of the *~* be the delimitation of every two words
just by one-click on the space-key?
2. If I want to have a distance that is two times of that your dedifned
with *~*, what shoul I do with your macros?
Thanks in advance.
