Thanks!  This looks very promising.  However, I can't make the
`slantfont' option work.  In my logfile, I only see

  Unknown feature `slant=0.17' in font `Bitstream Cyberbit'.

I'm using the latest XeTeX binary from TeXLive on my GNU/Linux box.

Neither in the fontspec documentation nor in the XeteX notes I can
find any hint to the `slant' element of the RawFeature option.  Where
does it come from?

Hmm.  This seems to be available in the SVN of XeTeX only (since 0.997
hasn't been released yet) -- introduced exactly one year ago :-)

TeXLive doesn't have this yet, so I have to trust you that it
works :-)
