Hi Hongsheng The \write issue will always happen when you include a ToC within CJK.
Add \newpage before \end{CJK*}. This will solve the issue.
Don't worry: calling this extra \newpage won't create an empty second page,
so it is relatively safe to include this line in each and every CJK document
that you create. In fact, I might even add this line in the example file on
Debian.
