Kathy, I appreciate your answer. My response back to several similar
responses was that I didn't want to consider the issue of ethics because to do
so would put me in a position where I would feel it necessary to give up
membership in the old club. It isn't a case where I don't have ethics, it is
a case where I just really don't want to do what I feel is the right thing. I
could justify it to myself in several different ways, one of which is that
change will only come from within the old club, but I believe that what the
CKCSC did was wrong, what they continue to do is wrong and the chances of
rectifying it is small. Where does this leave me? My job situation (owning
a nursing home) is filled with ethical issues. My family situation with 10
children and 19 grandkids (not counting my husband's kids and grandkids) is
filled with stress. I am good at compartmentalizing, and I put the dogs into
the compartment labeled "Low Stress/Stress Relievers. I am sorry if I come
across as uncaring and unethical. Mainly, I am just tired. Myra Savant
