I litter-trained the last litter of cavaliers I had here. I put the litter
box in the puppy pen at about 4 weeks, and they trained themselves in about
a day. I would definitely do it again, as it gave me a lot of flexibility,
ie I didn't have to worry about always getting them outside every 2 hours.
I used the Second Nature litter made by Purina. I started out with a
rabbit/guinea pig litter box and then moved up to the litterbox marketed by
Purina when they got bigger.

PS. I have a puppy buyer that wants a cavalier between the ages of one and
three. Color and gender unimportant. Wants a companion for 2-year-old ruby
female, as her other elderly dog is not going to be around much longer. If
you have anything, please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] . She lives in Michigan.
