I post-dated a check that I sent in the mail to make a car payment and the company
sent the check through to the bank. The bank accepted it before the date on the
check. Needless to say, I was not aware that they could do that, and ended up
bouncing other checks because they put the check through, which turned out to be a
nightmare of charges that my bank would not remove!
