Myra I hope you don't think I was making fun of anybody............I
certainly was not - nor did I fail to give credit for people who test. But
not all opinions are the same and I was simply trying to point that out and
maintain a balance between concern for the breed and being delighted that
the dogs as healthy as they are!

BTW most vets here and in Uk are very experienced with the breed - after all
they are second most popular breed of all here - but I don't see them
advocating all that bloodwork etc. I'm not pointing fingers at concerned and
thoughtful vets, but there are undoubtedly many who suggest totally
unnecessary procedures.
Having washed three dogs, I'm off to a show - looking for points for my
young boy Bristol, the ruby girl coming back after a litter and if all else
fails, I have my Ch Group winning bitch for a shot at BOB Very big
grin..........
Happy Australia Day to all
Jeanie
