Yes. I have placed him as a pet (with full disclosure of course) but have asked that they watch his weight carefully and keep him intact for the time being. Not to use, but so that he will not have as big a tendency to gain weight or get sedentary. He was one of those pups who grew very quickly into his full size. Since then, we have tinkered with our diet for the dogs to favor a slower rate of growth. I hope it matters. Myra
