  Dear Glenn,
   I have a rescue cocker who is epileptic - Proheart6 suggests giving
only to healthy animals, because once injected-it is there and working
for months.
   The shot, well, I would prefer to see some long time studies.  Even
human medications gets pulled occasionally due to safety issues.
   I am probably being overly cautious.  Heartgard seems the lesser of
2 evils at this time.
