Wow,

I can't imagine any judge 'dumping' a dog because of the
handler baiting! And more so, that it would
become 'public knowledge' that it was the reason for
said 'dumping' at a show.

Most of us utilize bait in the show ring in one manner
or another to get their attention or that perfect
expression, it's just a matter of course in the show
ring. Considerably more distracting or disruptive (for
other exhibitors) would be squeakies or bouncy objects;
certainly bait in innocuous! I do know of judges asking
exhibitors to refrain from baiting during an
examination, they probably worry about getting eaten
instead of the bait, or getting slobbered on - certainly
worthy concerns.

But to be dumped because of baiting? Whom is the judge?
