Special note to Karen and Larry before I start my introduction, last week we said goodbye to our 16.5 year old Border Terrier, Jezebel. She was the bestest friend to our first Cavalier from Ann Robbins, Chelsea. I would never hesitate to get a Border Terrier again. She owned my heart.
We have Cavaliers, English Toys, American Cockers and English Cockers. We have one Engie, Wrinkles) in his first ever show today and his parents George and Lola and Bruiser (mother Hilda) will start this fall. Some of our Cavaliers are retired champions and our ET's are loving pets. We jokingly call ourselves, as Vanessa would say, the northern branch of Kenjockety Spaniels. We have Mutley ( wire haired Daschound) a rescue from Arizona, Whizzer an IG, a rescue, and Chuna our border collie/golden X another rescue. We used to do greyhound rescue in CT before moving to Cavalier Rescue. We have "done" dogs for over 20 years We have a parrrot named Izzy who talks a blue streak, a cockatiel named Buddy, an Amazon parakeet named Esmerelda, two budgies and a love bird called Harriet AKA the Black Widow (she has killed all of her husbands) currently in isolation. This year, we lost two puppies from our litter of American cockers from Hilda in February, my adored Jelly Bean (from Ann Robbins) 2 weeks before her 14th BD, and Jezebel. We have one Cavalier, Foxy Lady in CHF. But other than that, we are in great shape. My husband sells Winnebagos. We live on a huge ranch in NM - oh wait, that's my fantasy! Thats's it for me!!!!!
