comments, i.e. persecution, has probably caused her to resign. If this is
the case, what good did all of this accomplish? The very fact that she
posted an introduction to the list in the first places tells me that she
might not realize that her breeding practices are the norm and accepted by
reputable breeders. It tells me that she might be open to learning and
taking advantage of the collective knowledge on this list to improve her
breeding practices."

In my introduction post, I wrote: "I have been on this list for about five

that time - about people generally and specifically and about our breed."

There are a few well coined phrases that now come to mind: 1) it's not
WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it; 2) opportunity lost; 3) if you're not
part of the solution, you're part of the problem; 4) do unto others as you
would have done unto you. These are but a few that I wanted to bring
forward. I was planning on staying out of this discussion, but I felt like
it was junior high school all over again in that there is one targetted
individual and several others swarming around them, biting and scratching,
while yet others (like myself until this point) sat back and watched it
happen. The "reason" for the "dog fight" isn't what I'm focusing on - it's
the conduct demonstrated. None of us on this list would support the
practices of Kelly nor are we likely to change her "commercial" approach to
breeding (especially now), but we could have made a difference and the end
benefit would have been realized by her cavaliers and their adoptive
families. A question we could ask ourselves: Why sould I offer my
experience and expertise to someone who sells puppies commercially? I
think some will be surprised at their inner voice "gut" response.
