Hello Everyone, I did introduce myself when I joined the list, but as that was over 4 years ago I will give a brief update now. I bought a Schipperke as a pet, went to an AKC match with him and was approached by a Schipperke breeder who asked if I had him entered. I had no idea what I was getting into but was bitten by the show bug big time. He went on to be an AKC Champion (even took an AOM at the Schip National), got his CD(no easy feat with a Schip), a CGC and we played at tracking and agility. Always owner handled, as that is what I consider the most fun.. doing it myself. I raised 2 litters, with 3 pups getting their CH. Have 1 121/2 year old boy still with me, the other 2 are couch potatoes at special homes and their mom is my mom's spoiled baby. I lost Jack just this last April at the age of 14 1/2.
I saw my first Cavalier about 5 years ago and fell in love! (I'm sure you all understand) Since then I have been lurking on this list and have been on and off some others. My 7 year old daughter and I have made pests of ourselves at the West Palm Beach shows petting the Cavaliers and talking to the wonderful patient Cavalier exhibitors there. I have learned lots and now have decided we are ready to take the plunge! Our hunt now begins for our very own special "Floppy Eared Puppy".
