Suze,

I have not seen any statistics that indicate breeding at 2.5 as opposed to a younger
age, say 1.5, 0r 2 has any increase in risk. My interpretation of the statements I
have read surrounding the increase of risk with age was that they occur later in life
and a measurable impact would be seen if for instance one waited until 4 for a first
litter. Maybe you are referring to the potential age at the last breeding if the
first one is delayed until 2.5? I am by no means an expert and would like to know
where I can find the statistics relating to an increase in issues with the Bitch by
breeding at 2.5 rather then a younger age. Can you suggest where they might be found
so I can better educate myself on the subject?
