Will Fanconi's Syndrome suffice??? http://www.jabed.com/genes.htm Long story made short, as Basenji breeders were trying to eliminate pyruvate kinase hemolytic anemia which is fatal they wound up increasing progrsseive retinal atrophy and Fanconi's syndrome which is also fatal.
