Hi All,

According to the manufacturer's lable Oxyclean is NOT Potassium Hydroxide.
According to the lable it is sodium percarbonate and sodium carbonate. When
mixed in the suggested solution I don't think it is particularly apt to
irritate (unless you got in in your eyes). I say this because I am a fairly
allergic and sensitive person and I use oxyclean solutions to treat stains
on clothing fairly frequently. I mix it and let my clothes soak in a my
laundry sink and from time to time I swish things around with my hands. I
have experienced no irritation of any sort. I can get hives from chopping
onions, so I know I am sensitive. At any rate, Oxyclean does not contain
Potassium Hydroxide.

All the best,
Susan V.
