Forgot to mention. A cup of canned pumpkin is a very good source of vitamin A, about 55,000 IU, more than 1 and 1/2 times the requirement for a 7kg cavalier. Carrots and sweet potatoes are also high in vitamin A. Three ounces of beef liver has about 30,000 IU. A cup of canned mixed vegetables 19,000, a chicken liver about 3,000. A chicken wing = 55 IU.
