Even if "they" ever knew about it (imagine reading every classified ad, in
every newspaper across the country), what would they be able to do about
it? This is still a "free" country and noone can yet stop anyone from
cross breeding dogs and advertising the truth. Though if some have their
way it will come to that and more.

Darlene Petralia (who longs for the days when pet shops were owned by sweet
and gentle little old men, and the puppies they sold were from caring,
considerate breeders, like in "Lady and the Tramp")

PS
Does anyone else remember dogs being sold through the Montgomery Ward
catalog? I remember dreaming of getting a puppy that way - the page with
Shelties on received a lot of wear and tear. (of course I was 7 at the
time.) Imagine the puppy mills they must have come from.

Darlene
