Savvy uses the litter box made by Purina but not with dog litter. I use a puppy trainng pad in it. If I was training more than one puppy then I would use a plastic sweater box with one side cut out and half filled with cedar or pine shavings. Golden puppies get started at 3 weeks and pick it up right away.
