Dear list!

I am sorry to bother you with a problem of mine - but this is the only place
I can think of getting help from!

Once again I have gone to cavalierpedigrees.com looking for a few pedigrees
and some help in updating my cavalier pedigree files. To my horror it seems
to be closed ...!!

I have recently acquired breedmate pro (version 4.6.3) but unfortunately its
very useful pedigree converter add-on doesn't support the format of the
pedigree-program I previously used. So I have a huge work ahead of me,
around 10.000 pedigrees to write again. Well, luckily there is the
downloadable online file of c. 10.000 pedigrees on breed mate's web pages -
but it seems to be a very different version (earlier perhaps) of the
database that the one that was online at cavalierpedigrees.com. Maybe there
is no connection between them at all?

However. I think at some point there was a conversation going on about the
different pedigree programs - and someone mentioned that there would be an
update coming to the database - does that mean the database that is
downloadable or the one that is now unreachable?

I wonder if there are any other databases online? or if anyone would be able
to email databases?

In the near future, I will hopefully get my old files converted manually one
by one - but it is frustrating to do now that I cannot get any help online.
Obviously the lines that I am following are still very narrow as I have
tried to get our own dogs 'on the map' first. We have wholecolours from the
Sorata and Harana lines with a hint of particolour in them.

If anyone knows if the database that was online (at cavalierpedigrees.com)
is available in some way, I would be very grateful for any information. A
million thanks!
