I find there are no health differences, type differences, personality
differences in the tricolors vs. the other colors.

The only problem is getting ones with good markings and few people keep the
ones who don't have good markings. So this makes top quality, fully tested
tricolor stud dogs a rarity--especially those over 5 years of age.

Ticking is no more a problem with tris than with blenheims--except black
ticking is more obvious than red ticking.

Well marked tricolors are truly hard to come by! I like to see a tricolor
sort of heavily marked (more black than white) but still well broken up and
with a nice white neck line. I think my Kami (Roycroft Kountry Kameo) is
quite well marked. I've got my fingers crossed for Kami's 2 week old
tricolor baby girl by Ch. Lymrey Juggernaut who I think is spectacularly
marked on the head and body--but watch, something else will probably go
wrong!
