Any one in hardy can use the packaged scons below. In windows, well, reinstall[1]. And in mac, ferran told me that macports version is already 1.2. So Dirk, you can try to reapply the patch again. It should work.

Ok - I will do so :)

Great!

Now trying to build an updated scons package for hardy.
I put the 1.1 version included in the blender SVN in
/home/testfarm/svns/scons-1.1. You could call it with python scons.py.
In fact, I did an alias in the .bashrc of testfarm user. But since maybe
cron doesn't use it, or as www-data doesn't use it neither, or if you
want to install it as a .deb package, I just notice you.
With this version it should work now.

Ok - reverted

Ops, Dirk, i guess we should revert until we have a solution. Having
that in red is no good.

Ups - sorry for the trouble!
No problem. I'm using an old distribution.... :)

Should I convert it back?
I don't think so. Unless so many other people complains...

BTW, I'm now using scons 1.1, included in Blender SVN because the
same issues:

14 .h tm l

It doesn't even need to be installed, I just call it using python
scons.py...

Best regards,
Natanael.

Or just install another program (scons) in my local home. I still
don't want KDE4....

Yes, it will be nice if you do so. The warning is really
nagging.

This implies that we require a certain minimum version of SCons.
We might add a call to EnsureSConsVersion(0, 98, 1) to every
updated scons. I don't know if this has implications in debian
packaging. I will take it a look.

Hi,

I got rid of the (annoying) scons warnings like:

scons: warning: The Options class is deprecated; use the
Variables class
instead.

scons: warning: The PathOption() function is deprecated; use
the PathVariable() function instead.

in the following files:
CLAM/SConstruct
CLAM/plugins/spacialization/SConstruct
CLAM/plugins/osc/SConstruct

Should I do the rest as well - or are there deprecated
directories for
which this is a waste of time?

Best, Dirk
