MIT pthreads (PMPthreads?) is such a library. It has a thread-safe
version of errno.
Which one should I be looking for?
I am especially curious as for errno to be considered non-thread-safe
and 'not recommended for use' would be extremely bad for UNIX and
UNIX-like systems.
