We (the ClamAV development team) don't test with Yocto or for embedded systems in general. Personally I haven't used Yocto in about 6 years. So unfortunately I'm not at all familiar with what hurdles you'll encounter trying to build ClamAV with Yocto.
ClamAV does have fairly steep RAM usage requirements, using over 1GB of RAM when the databases are loaded, plus any RAM needed to scan files (varies depending on file size). Your device will need probably at least 2GB of RAM dedicated to ClamAV.
