Now, clamd has crashed and won't come back up. Since it isn't
volunteering any error messages on crash, can someone tell me where the
errors are logged?

Subject: [Clamav-users] clamav-milter

I'm getting puzzled by clamav-milter - isn't it supposed to be in

        /usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter

When I check the contents, I see nothing.

I'm running Solaris 9 with gcc 3.1 and GNU Make 3.80 - clamd, clamscan,
clamdscan and freshclam all compile fine.

I used "./configure --sysconfdir=/clamav --enable-milter" to configure -

No error messages, just the following:

In make:

        Making all in clamav-milter
        make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/prez/clamav-0.60/clamav-milter'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
        make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/prez/clamav-0.60/clamav-milter'

In make install:

        Making install in clamav-milter
        make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/prez/clamav-0.60/clamav-milter'
        make[2]: Entering directory
`/home/prez/clamav-0.60/clamav-milter'
        /bin/ksh ../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/sbin
        /bin/ksh ../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/man/man1
        make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/prez/clamav-0.60/clamav-milter'
        make[1]: Leaving directory

Any ideas?

Subject: [Clamav-users] HP-UX QUestion

Question:

Any reason anyone can think of that ClamAV will not run on HP-UX?

I haven't actually tried compiling it yet, but i'd like to get it
running on HP-UX 10.xx or 11.xx.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sundie...
