Does anyone have this setup at all?
ClamAV-0.67
Amavis-0.3.13pre2
Both are running as the same user. But I get this error (when amavis tries processing an incoming mail) when clamd is running as the user instead of root.
Virus scanner failure: ScannerDaemon - UNKNOWN STATUS (error code: /var/amavis/amavis-00522596/parts: Can't access the file ERROR)
Sorry for reposting this. Just wanted to make sure. I am sure that somebody definitely has this setup and the issue is somewhere else. I have tried all the permission permutations with the relevant directories, but still the error persists.
If clamd is run as root everything seems fine (except running as root, a big hole).
