What you don't seem to understand is that the "distinction between technical attacks and social engineering attacks" is irrelevant, because thats not what *any* anti-virus product has as a requirement. If you want to impose your own requirements, then *you* will have to put in the work to fulfil them. The rest of us don't much care.
