how to disable the Windows Scripting Host (WSH) to prevent an insidious
new "phishing" technique that uses a script to redirect you to a
fraudulent Web site when you log on to do online banking.

So some of the phishing attacks now use scripts ....

Viri abusing scripts is nothing new. During the time that W98 was recent WSH was abused quite frequently. The step to use scripts for phishing isn't that big.


Anyway, no matter what OS you use think before you click, disable HTML mail and scripting inside the mailclient used.
Disabling WSH might stop certain useful features tools from running.
