I have been running clamav for quite some time now. For most of that time I was receiving between 1500 and 2000 viruses per day. However, lately the number is down to about 200 per day. I don't have any users complaining about receiving viruses so I don't think there is a problem with clamav. Is the virus volume really decreasing?
Well, I'm seeing the same thing here we now have between 2000 and 3000 a week, and a few months ago it still was between 10-12000 a week.
No major changes here, same amount of email adresses, etc..
No complaints either, so I guess more and more viruses get stopped at the source? (or ISP's)
