Before I paste this in, my libresolv lives in /lib
[EMAIL PROTECTED] lib]# ls -l libr*
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        73640 Apr  7  2003
libresolv-2.3.2.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           18 Apr 23  2003 libresolv.so.2
-> libresolv-2.3.2.so
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        32187 Apr  7  2003 librt-2.3.2.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           14 Apr 23  2003 librt.so.1 ->
librt-2.3.2.so

Don't ask me why, I inherited this box from a previous admin. Anyway,
on with the show ...

[EMAIL PROTECTED] lib]# cd /usr/local/lib
[EMAIL PROTECTED] lib]# ls -l
total 0

Looks like he was a fan of --prefix=/usr since all my lib's seem to live
in /usr/lib or just /lib

Does this answer your question or do you really want the entire output
of /usr/lib and /lib ?

Thanks,
.jon
