i have seen some one else asked a similar Question in a other thread but he got no answer. at least i can't found one in the Archives.
i am running / compiling clamav-0.88.7 under FreeBSD 4.8 with out any Problem
but.... if i compile clamav-0.90 from the sources ./configure make ............. /usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot find -lpthread *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/its-h.de/varius/clamav/clamav-0.90/libclamav. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/its-h.de/varius/clamav/clamav-0.90. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/its-h.de/varius/clamav/clamav-0.90. if i use ./configure --disable-pthreads i have no error but clamd is not compiled the process states ......... creating clamscan Making all in clamd Making all in clamdscan Making all in freshclam source='../shared/outpu .............. but after make install ( without errors !) there is no clamd in /usr/local/sbin or anywhere else on my System. can some one point me in the right direction please Matthias _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://lurker.clamav.net/list/clamav-users.html
