Hi List,

I have a timeout problem with a large archive in ClamAV. The issue is
similar to the one reported by Samir M. on 2007-03-29 "Problem with big
mails", although my attachment is not as large as his.

My system is FreeBSD 6.2 with clamav-0.90.1_1 and the latest dependencies
installed. Inside the archive there is - besides others - a rather highly
compressed ethereal dump with an original size of 18MB. I assume ClamAV
gets the timeout there although the directive in the conf file:

# Files in archives larger than this limit won't be scanned.
# Value of 0 disables the limit.
# Default: 10M
#ArchiveMaxFileSize 15M

Any suggestions or ideas to further investigate the problem?

David
