OK, I am the debug version over the weekend. It still crashed, and I have no better debug information to give you. The faulting module was the MSVC 8 Runtime dll.
I have noticed that the service will continue to use more and more RAM over time. Maybe it is just a simple handle leak that finally goes too far. I still think the wrapper service around clamd.exe should detect that it is gone and restart it.
