Thanks, Thilo, for pointing out the individual files. So, then the question would be, is there an advantage to using the MSI installer vs the individual files for updating? Or even initial install?
The obvious would be that you'd get new .conf files so you could check to make sure the syntax didn't change again. Is there anything the MSI does besides copy the files to C:\Program Files\clamAV and register it in Add/Remove Programs?
