We are heading away from that, since it's clearly a bad idea to have separate repositories for separate operating systems. If you think it's complicated for you to have to merge, spare a moment to think of my time as well! In time there will be one source code for all - we are getting that way, libclamav is now pretty much done, there are some outstanding issues in the application levels that are still to be addressed by members of the team.
