i seem to be having the same issue as in this thread: http://lists.clamav.net/pipermail/clamav-win32/2007-September/000304.html
unfortunately, the only post that was not simply an email history, was to download powertools and install it. as geoff mentioned in his posts, the gui comes up, but it doesn't work. to be more specific: though the menus open, none of the items do anything. on the left side of the main window, the 'Scan File' and 'Update virus database' buttons work on the right side of the screen, all boxes are greyed out. according to geoff, clamp is unable to locate AVGuiENU.dll and AVGuiLOC.dll. [i have not verified that this is the case on my system, though i can attest to those files not existing anywhere on the box.] -- =================================================== unix: because rebooting is for adding new hardware - Please consider your environmental responsibility before printing this e-mail - _______________________________________________ http://lists.clamav.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/clamav-win32
